搭载 Arm® Cortex® 处理器的嵌入式控制器
CX8280 嵌入式控制器有两个串口，一个是 RS232 串口，另一个是 RS485 串口。这两个串口都在 D-sub 接口上。它们未和某个特定的协议绑定，可以通过适用于不同串行通信协议的 TwinCAT 3 功能组件进行扩展。
CX8280 搭载时钟频率为 1.2 GHz 的 Arm® Cortex®-A53 双核处理器。CX8200 标配带有 1 个 1 Gbit 以太网接口、1 个 USB 3.0 接口、1 个 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM 和 1 个 microSD 卡槽。microSD 卡不包含在供货范围内，必须根据所需内存容量单独订购。
可根据需要连接 E-bus 或 K-bus 端子模块；CX8280 在启动时自动识别所连接的 I/O 系统类型。控制系统编程采用 TwinCAT 3 通过总线接口或额外的以太网接口完成。TwinCAT 3 许可证必须通过 TwinCAT 3 价格表进行订购。
操作系统采用的是 Beckhoff RT Linux®。
