USB Extended 2.0 接口
CX2550-0179 和 CX2550-0279 模块通过用于工业 PC 的 CU8800 和 CU8801 USB 扩展功能进一步补充了 CX20xx 系列，能够直接连接带 USB Extended 接口的倍福控制面板。CX2550-0x79 系统模块是用于 CX20xx 嵌入式控制器系列的附件。它们通过 Cat.5E 电缆传输 USB 信号，传输距离最大可达 50 米。这两种模块都可安装在 CX20xx-CPU 的右侧，位于电源模块和 CPU 的中间。内部连接通过 CX20xx-CPU 的 USB 端口建立；这样，无需使用 PCI Express® 资源。运行不需要额外的驱动，因为 USB 信号的信号转换和传输发生在电气层，对操作系统来说是完全透明的。每个模块都有 4 个诊断 LED，除了电源状态之外，还可以指示传输标准的状态。为了提高可见性，在下面的故障 LED 上冗余地实施 RJ45 母头的 LED。
CX2550-0279 系统模块则根据 USB 2.0 标准（高速，最高 480 Mbit/s）传输 USB 信号。它适用于连接倍福 CP29xx-0000、CP39xx-000、CP69xx-xxxx-0010 和 CP79xx-xxxx-0010 系列带 USB Extended 2.0 接口的控制面板。
