Responsibilities
- responsible for finding business opportunities for control and automation systems in the factory or urban automation sectors in your target industries, eg. assembly, F&B, pharma, electronics, etc.
- engage with the various stakeholders in projects, including investors/owners, machine designers, integrators, and sub-contractors, to raise the profile of and provide support for Beckhoff to ensure that we remain on-spec
- work closely with the application and product teams to propose suitable solutions in order to meet customer expectations
- create and manage the network of solution providers and integrators, achieving your set sales targets
- provide technical, application, and sales support, to customers, including product demonstrations for customers at client sites or in-house demonstration facilities
- maintain and develop positive and professional working relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
Qualifications
- possess a degree or diploma in Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics or relevant technical disciplines
- have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in the FA context with an MNC
- come from a technical sales or marketing background, with a penchant for people, networking, and technology
- independent, self-motivated, and loves challenges
