Regional Sales Support (f/m/x) – Remote (covering Atlanta)

Beckhoff implements open automation systems using proven PC-based control technology. The main areas that the product range covers are industrial PCs, I/O and fieldbus components, drive technology, automation software, control cabinet-free automation, and hardware for machine vision.

• develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations and preparing quotes
• closes new account by answering telephone, fax and email inquiries, verifying and entering information
• assist CSR’s with answering questions on quotes/orders
• develop existing accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new item; explaining technical features
• maintain communication to the Field Sales (CRM once in operation) by troubleshooting, reporting and tracking problems and opportunities
• update job knowledge by studying new products
• meet sales objectives working together with the outside sales teams and Customer Service Representatives
• occasional travel required
• other duties and special projects as assigned

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or related technical field from a four year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• knowledge of industrial automation products and applications, Beckhoff knowledge preferred
• self-starter with a results driven personality
• strong analytical and reasoning skills
• excellent written and oral communication skills
